An  important honor for Ethiopia and for one of its respected citizens.  Dr. Lake Mariam Asfaw will be awarded the most prestigious Life Time International Award from the American Geophysical Union .

Dr. Lake Mariam Asfaw is the recepient of the AGU life time International Award for his work.  The official annoucement is expected.

Research Interests

Currently my research interest is in an integrated  approach to the study of hazards and in particular geohazards.
